Northwest Weighted Average Direct Feeder Cattle

   Compared to last week, feeder cattle steady in a light test. Trade slow with 
good demand. CME positions moved higher and lower during the trading session, 
however feeder contracts finished higher to end the day. The feeder supply 
included 76 percent steers and 24 percent heifers. Near 44 percent of the supply 
weighed over 600 lbs. Prices are FOB weighing point with a 1-4 percent shrink or 
equivalent and with a 3-8 cent slide on yearlings. Delivered prices include 
freight, commissions and other expenses. Current sales are up to 14 days 
delivery.
